In giving some thought to this dream bigger page, I had many thoughts come up of what my dreams are at this point and growing up. Sometimes our dreams are different from when we were younger and they change as our ideas, thoughts, desires, and circumstances change and we interact with the world. As we live, we may have checked off many or some or none of our dreams from our list. We don’t dream as much let alone dream bigger.
When we are younger we may say to ourselves, when I grow up I will be a dancer, gymnast, etc. If we have supportive parents they will help us with those dreams. If we don’t then those dreams die. I don’t remember choosing a career other than the one of being a mother and being able to stay home and raise them. I went to school, got good grades, did what I was told and tried to be a help to my mother. My father was gone a lot in the Coast Guard. I had 3 siblings and I was the oldest.
Life happened and I could not have children the traditional way. So I and my late husband adopted. She is my why. For the first 4 years of her life I was able to be home with her. I loved it!!! My career before her and after was as a legal secretary. I did not go to school for that, but was in the right place at the right time and just moved up from being a file clerk to receptionist to legal secretary. I love typing and took it in high school and got to the speed of 100wpm. That was my career for 40 years.
I knew though that I wanted more and that there must be a way to work for myself and not for others. I needed to dream bigger!
Going against the grain of the norm to dream bigger!
For most of us we are taught to go to school, get a good job and spend your money wisely. Well that works if you have been taught to spend money wisely. I have since learned that you give to God first, take care of family next and then bills. The other norm, college then getting a job. I did not go to college right out of high school. I got a job first.
Then after my husband passed away I went back to get my degree. Just completing that so I could say I was a college graduate. Down inside I knew the traditional way of working (the norm) was not what I wanted. In my 50’s I found RRR and purchased my PBS for retirement income. I was excited. Even though I had tried other programs that did not live up to what promised. I just felt that God led me here to do this. After being more involved here I saw this program was different.
It’s time to Awaken those past dreams
So being let go awoke my desire to go after working for myself and not someone else. The realization set in that I still have my PBS and it is time to dust it off and get it working for me. My dream of working for myself has been awakened again and with a vehicle to get me there. The Art of Performance Blogging is what I am learning. And I am living that dream and it is allowing me to dream bigger.
My Dreams
My dream is to travel every year. I had done that with my late husband and current husband and children up until Covid hit. So travel for the last 3 years has been hit and miss. So in regard to travel, the way I want to travel has definitely changed. I will be traveling first class wherever I go all over the world – to Ireland, Greece, Jamaica, Switzerland, Italy, and many places in the Caribbean. I will stay wherever as long as I like. And not be concerned about what I am spending and on what. Just enjoying the moment as I am in it.
My previous trips to Aruba, Dominican Republic, Tahiti, Mexico, The Bahamas and some states have all been overshadowed by restrictions on money or what was available on my credit card at the time. To dream bigger means I will have access to a cook in my villa. I will get a massage at least 2 times a week. I will have a private swimming pool.
I will be debt free. Make those final payments on my few credit cards. And from that moment of paid in full I will have an overabudance in my checking account for any thing I wish to buy, so I don’t have to charge it or go without it.
I will be in the position to take advantage of business opportunities that come along through RRR and not have to miss out on the opportunity or borrow it from someone.
More to dream about
Once I decide on what car I would like (I prefer the older models), then I will pay cash for it. Whether that is a Jaguar, Mercedes, Cadillac or Porsche. As I get older, I may not be able to get into a Porsche – it’s a little low (lol) but the choice will be mine.
As of writing this page, I have become a grandmother of a little girl. So my choice of car has changed – to a Range Rover SUV. Dream bigger is the motto.
I also want to build a house from the ground up. It will have a large kitchen, with a large walk in refrigerator. At least 3 rooms – 1 for guest with a separate bathroom. 1 for an office with an additional space for my sewing room. And of course the master bedroom with a sitting area, a 2 person jacuzzi in the bathroom and a separate walk in shower.
In addition to my own home I want to buy a duplex for my daughter. One that is near me (or within 30 minutes) of my future grandchildren; so I can visit any time or they come stay with me for a night or two. My daughter will have 1 unit and pay rent or mortgage (if we go in together) and the other rent it out.
I am now in the future – I have a granddaughter and she is the light of my life. I get to see her every day and when she smiles at me my heart is full. I can’t imagine life without her. I want to take her to tropical destinations like I did with my daughter. She has already been on a plane 6 times since 2 months and 15 months. She learned to walk at 10 months. That duplex/fourplex is on it’s way. So my granddaughter can come visit me by climbing down the stairs to get to grandma.
Once my daughter is ready to marry; I would like to take her to Kleinfelds in NY to look at wedding gowns and purchase one.
Dream Bigger to Help Others!
In addition to my own personal dreams and desires. I want to have the income to help my children and family with unexpected financial emergencies and not require them to pay it back. I want to show my daughter, niece and nephew a different way of making a living; through RRR and working for themselves. Show my family that I can make as much money as I desire through this business and show others they can also.
I also want to spend my time helping others grow their businesses. While not having my focus divided on if I am making my nut each month. To know that everything I need is taken care of and just helping others dream bigger.
Thoughts!
In addition, money is the currency of this world and it is not a sin to have abundance. God wants us to have what we need and provides for us. He also wants us to have what we want as long as it lines up with His will for us. And as long as we are helping others with that abundance!
Just having money is not the beginning and end. We need money to survive in this world and living without good health is not living life to its fullest. We have found a company that has great products that enhance your health. Take a look at the products. I am sure you will find something that can help enhance your life!
Money is the means to buy what we need and what we want. I want to make money every day in excess of what I need so I can give to others and change their lives. God created us all and is no respecter of persons and so since money is the currency used in this world, then that is what God uses to bless us with. We must remember that God is our source and we can have abundance here on earth. We just need to dream bigger because our God is not limited except by our minds. Whatever we can conceive, we can achieve.
